May 3, 2012: Night Travel, Kennedy Space Center

We were on the move before 5 this morning on; so for those of you following us on Spot Hug you can see we are still moving along! At about 4:30 this morning we passed the Kennedy Space Center! For those interested in our fuel burned so far on the trip, it is 3 gallons per hour!

We chose to run all night in the waters, since the winds are calm and night travel is incredibly beautiful. Traveling at night gives a completely different prospective and appreciation for travel! It is not for the unseasoned boater, though. You definitely need to be chartered with a seasoned professional! We’ll talk more about night travel in another post! So stay tuned!

Don’t forget to check back later to see where we end up! Also, check out more about the Kennedy Space Center
