As Summer Turns to Fall it must be time for Transition

Well, we had a great time this summer here in the Chesapeake Bay and have spent many nights aboard the Grampstr's Pride.  As the the fall approached we were thrilled to attend the 2016 Bay Bridge Trawlerfest.

Originally we had planned to head South on our transition cruise this week but Hurricane Matthew and some terrible weather had a different idea.  We decided to that it was better safe then sorry and delayed our trip south until early November.  So there is still time to charter with us on our trip south. Nonetheless, we thought we would take a couple of minutes to just outline our planned trip.

Typically we travel four legs starting from the Chesapeake Bay Down to Tampa Bay.  But this trip we decided that we would wait until later in the spring to over to Tampa and will be spending some time near Daytona.  So we will travel the fourth leg latter this winter.

The best part about the transition over the change of seasons is the beautiful scenery.  We are really looking forward to seeing all of the beautiful foliage all the way down he coast.

Grampstr's Pride has added a new tender. Rigid Boat's 12 foot sport tender with a 30 horsepower Evinrude outboard motor that has a top speed of 25 mph with four adult passengers is our new baby.....appropriately named Grampstr's Joy. It is perched on a new custom hydraulic lift  swim platform built by TNT lifts. Both are proudly American made right in Florida just like the Grampstr's Pride.  This tender is built with the grampster in mind. It even has a customized Grampstr's pole to assist with getting on and off the boat safely. It also has a three step swim ladder to make tubing and swimming fun activities. We look forward to offering these new amenities to our charter guests.

Grampstr's Pride is on its way to the Miami International Boat Show. After waiting for the fog to lift it was smooth cruising under the Sunshine Skyway bridge working our way to the Venice Yacht Club. Just in time to witness a glorious sunset at the inlet jetty. What a wonderful way to welcome back the beautiful weather.

If your ready for spring break you should consider a charter with us.

Its Been awhile but we have been having fun!!

Good afternoon everyone.  The past several months have been one crazy whirlwind tour that included areas of the Chesapeake Bay all the way back down to the Florida Keys.  They say pictures are worth a 1k words, lets hope this will help show you the great time we have been having.

Over the next several weeks will try to post some updates about what we have been up to.  Lets just say this, as the weather is getting cold and wintery up in the north it is nice and sunny here in the Florida.
